The human figure has always taken center stage in my art especially in my early etchings and monoprints of Japanese Geisha. My recent textile mixed media collages are inspired by the Gustav Klimt. I use jewel toned patterned fabrics for backgrounds to surround female figures that I hand stitch using a thread drawing technique. My most popular designs are also printed on wearable-art scarves, silky tops, leggings, and pillows.
