Become an AVA Artist

  • It’s free to become a member of AVA. There is no form to fill out, no application. Just email us and tell us you're interested and we will begin the conversation.

What are our membership requirements?

  • AVA is about bringing together Tri-Valley artists with the Tri-Valley communities of Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon and Danville.

  • You need to be a visual artist/resident here in the Tri-Valley or (if you live outside the Tri-Valley) actively engaged as a member in one of the Tri-Valley Art Associations (ADAS, DAC, LAA, PAL) - the art scene - and willing to help in our mission to build our community of visual arts - i.e. willing to connect with others and the community! Easy peasy!

  • You must display your work on our artist gallery page and of course that work needs to be free of offensive images. We will train you on how to build your own page or you can hire one of our members for a small fee.

What are the benefits of being an AVA member?

  • AVA members are the first to be invited to our activities which include TVAST- the Tri Valley Artist Studio Tour…Over 50 artists in 2021 from all of the above cities gathered together, opened their studios and invited the public.

  • We have Backyard ARTS events that are a smaller scale gathering of AVA folks who show at one location (20 of us gathered in May of 2022).

  • We run the Downtown Livermore Art Stroll where you can hang your work in some of the businesses there.

  • You get to have your own private page amongst our other artists. Contact us and if you’re savvy about building a website page… It's really easy - we’ll send you some training videos so you can build your own page . If not, you can pay $15 and one of our folks will build your page for you.

  • And finally, we promote each other and all the visual arts events in the Tri-Valley.
