Doing art has always been an important part of my life. I am mostly “self taught” although I am grateful for the teachers who encouraged me to explore my passion and trust my creative instincts. I mainly paint, using acrylic, pastels and mixed media. I am drawn to playful subjects and bold colors. You will find themes of nature, music and food in my work. I am starting to explore painting on different surfaces, like wood, rocks and paper. Additionally, I am doing digital art on my iPad and love the new art possibilities from this medium.
